Passengers of public transport have the right to transport in it and the pets. But for implementation of journey of an animal it is necessary to meet a number of the conditions established by rules of transportations of passengers and baggage.

Instruction
1. In most cases transportation of pets in public transport, both in land, and in air, is allowed, but with a condition of observance of a number of rules and some restrictions.
2. So, for example, transportation of animals in land road and electric city transport is allowed under following conditions: birds and animals of the small size have to be transported only in boxes, baskets or special containers with a deaf bottom. If the sizes of a container do not go beyond the established norms of dimensions of hand luggage, transportation of such animal will be free. Hunting, guard, sentry and all other dogs which dimensions do not allow to refer them to category of hand luggage are transported on the rear platform only at muzzled and on the fastened lead. Payment for transportation of a large animal is made in a full size.
3. Seeing eye dogs visually impaired, besides a lead and a muzzle, have to have the specialized identification mark. On all types of land transport of the city, suburban and long-distance message payment for journey of a seeing eye dog is not made. Transportation of cats, small by the sizes, birds and dogs in electric trains of the suburban message is made under the special tickets acquired together with the ticket for the animal owner. Dogs of large breeds have to be transported only in the platform of an electric train in the presence of a lead and a muzzle, in number of no more than 2 and under obligatory observation of the person accompanying them.
4. To transport small animals and birds in long distance trains, it is necessary to remember that transportation is allowed in all cars, except for sleeping and luxury cars. Animals have to be in specialized containers for transportation or in any cage, a box which dimensions meet the established standards for hand luggage. Payment is in that case made as for one article of luggage which weight does not exceed 20 kg. Pets on these conditions are transported only in the presence of the veterinary certificate on all planned inoculations.
5. Large animals are transported also in the presence of veterinary references, in a muzzle, with payment for their actual weight or for the certain place. It is allowed to transport large dogs in the baggage car under supervision of attendants; in the platform of the first car – under supervision of attendants; in a compartment under supervision of the attendant and with payment of the certain compartment place.
6. In a cabin it is authorized to transport only medium-sized animals which weight does not exceed 8 kg. The quantity of at the same time transported animals depends on regulations of a single airline. Animals have to have the veterinary certificate and be in a special container for transportation. Large dogs are transported only in a luggage compartment of the plane and in the presence of a container grid. It is better to carry out reservation of tickets for animals beforehand since on quantity of the transported pets each company sets own limit. Also it is necessary to consider that rules of transportation of animals can strongly vary, depending on type of airline and flight: the rules existing on internal flights can strongly differ from rules for international transport.
