Wolves live in flocks. In one pack there can be from 7 to 20 predators. Each wolf collective has an own territory in which they hunt and grow up the posterity. If wolves strangers make the way on others earth – not to avoid a deadly fight.

1. Wolves are the predators belonging to family dog (or canids). Statistically, the genus of wolves is the most numerous among all mammals on Earth, however includes only 7 types: gray and red wolves, ordinary, cheprachny, striped and Ethiopian jackals, coyote and also wild and domestic dogs. These predators resemble ordinary dogs, only much more largely superficially. However between a wolf and a dog there is an essential distinction: dogs, as we know, friends of the person what you will not tell about wolves – they from time immemorial are enemies of the person. Since ancient times in warm season the wolves attack a livestock, and in cold and hungry – do not disdain also the person!
2. Wolves are called by the most successful predators on big game and also professionals of collective round-ups and shelters. And all because these animals are collective hunters. For this reason they easily cope with such large mammals as elks, bulls or deer. Usually the pack of wolves is divided into two groups: the first part of predators drives the victim into an ambush where it is waited by their relatives to whom the part of executioners is assigned. It should be noted that skills of collective hunting of wolves demand from them ingenuity and coordination of actions.
3. It is curious that the collectivity of these predators is traced not only on hunting, but also in usual life. The fact is that wolves live in the whole flocks from 7-20 predators. As usual, each pack of wolves possesses own possession – territories to which have no right to come strangers from the next packs. If newcomers entered on others territory, then fights not to avoid. Quite often such skirmishes come to an end tragically for some individuals. In each pack of wolves there is the leader – a skilled and strong predator to which all pack submits. It is invariable wolf tradition.
4. Wolves live in dens, and in one den there can live only one male and one female. So wolves form similarity of social cells of society. In the spring couple of wolves has wolf cubs. By the way, these predators are very careful and patient parents: the brood feeds and not only the female, but also a male brings up.
5. The mankind always fought and continues to fight against these predators, exterminating them. However not always wolves do only harm. For example, in forests these predators perform work of the true hospital attendants, eating the dead or sick animals who are making the life miserable to all live. The number of wolves leaves much to be desired now as the mankind practically exterminated them.
