1. If your cat already was 8 months old – however, many veterinarians advise to wait about one year – that in the beginning decide on what operation has to be performed for sterilization of a cat. Distinguish bandaging of uterine tubes and removal of a uterus with preservation of ovaries which do not allow a cat to become pregnant, but at the same time all signs of sexual hunting and a techka remain; the removal of ovaries suitable for absolutely young cats, and so-called castration at which both the uterus, and ovaries are removed is also possible. If you want the cat to become quieter, did not shout and did not demand a cat, then stop or at a distance of all reproductive organs, or at a distance of ovaries.
2. On the eve of operation you do not feed a cat densely, and next morning do not give it food in general in order to avoid appearance of vomiting after giving an anesthesia. When the anesthesia works, the veterinarian will shear wool on a tummy of a cat and will make on it a cut – if it is decided to stop on bandaging of pipes, then absolutely small and if removal of reproductive organs is planned, then it can reach several centimeters in length. After all necessary manipulations are done, sew up a section.
3. Owners surely should check a cat while she departs from an anesthesia. Lay an animal on the floor on a laying in the warm place that it could not fall and be injured. Consciousness of a cat will remain a little obscured throughout even some time therefore do not leave her one. Calm an animal, stroke it and observe that it did not do sharp movements.
4. For at least a week after operation the animal has to carry a body cloth. It is necessary in order that the cat could not "razlizat" a seam that in turn can lead to bleeding. In the beginning she actively tries to be exempted from unusual "article of clothing", but if the owner calms a cat and will distract her attention, then she quickly enough gets used to a poponka and ceases to notice it.
