2. The caracal needs the movement. Room conditions for keeping of these animals do not approach first of all on dimensions. The cat is capable to make jumps to four meters. Such feature in total with a weight reaching 15-17 kg can become the reason of the real disorder in an interior.
3. The caracal eats exclusively animal food. Under natural conditions cats eat rodents, small zverok or hoofed animals. Often they do not miss an opportunity to catch a reptile or to ruin a nest of birds. In house conditions the main component of a diet of a caracal is any meat and fish. In addition the vitamins and minerals necessary for completion of a reserve of nutrients in an animal organism are added to food.
4. Training of caracals does not deliver work. Animals instantly understand requirements of the owner, quickly get used to leads and try to follow rules of stay in the apartment. However an instinct to sharpen claws, as well as at the majority of cats, at caracals is present too. For this reason to an animal special claw sharpeners become. 5. It is not recommended to buy caracals privately extremely. It is necessary to do it only in specialized shops or nurseries. The fact is that experts begin process of training of wild cats that they were tender and obedient with the earliest childhood. 6. In house conditions the caracals are capable to get on with any pets. The main exception - rodents and birds. A hamster, a guinea pig or a parrot the cat will apprehend as production and will surely try to regale on it. Cases when animals do not show interest in such neighbors are known, but you should not risk better.
