The African snail, or akhatina, treats exotic pets. But if cats are recognized "stressosnimatel", and dogs are considered as loyal friends of the person, then not everyone understands what interest the ordinary snail can represent.
1. Simple leaving

As for feeding, and here the akhatina is absolutely unpretentious. Snails eat vegetables, fruit and greens, also the calcium source is necessary for them for construction of a strong beautiful sink — it can be a powdery egg shell, sepia or an armor of a cuttlefish (are on sale in pet-shops), meat and bone meal, natural chalk (not school!). The products containing salt, alcohol, chemicals and also a citrus and crude potatoes are forbidden (the lethal outcome is possible). Interesting fact: when feeding a snail "bright" vegetables and fruit (tomatoes, paprika) the sink of an akhatina will be saturated, bright color.
2. Akhatina - for allergic persons
It is contraindicated to the people having an allergy to wool to get fluffy pets, but much want to have though some living creatures in the house. A snail — fine option in this case: her skin, the wrinkled and folded, and emitted from it slime do not cause allergic reactions.
