To teach a cat to use a toilet bowl, having saved itself from need to clean a tray and to inhale "cat's smells", it can do to everyone. But keep in mind: this process is quite long and gradual. Therefore from you the patience and once again patience will be required.
Instruction
1. If you decided to accustom cat to a toilet bowl, animal there have to be not less than six months (small kittens will not be able just to keep on a seat). Besides, the door in a toilet should not be closed strongly, and the toilet bowl cover always has to be open. Get used to it in advance – otherwise all works will come to nothing.
2. Your first task is to make so that the tray stood closely to a toilet bowl. If your cat from the very beginning got used to do the things in a toilet – big problems are not expected. But, if the tray costs in kitchen or the bathroom, and the cat does not agree to sharp change of the place – you should move every day it towards the purpose literally on 10-15 centimeters.
3. After the tray appeared at last in the right place, begin to raise daily it on 1-2 centimeters over floor level. For this purpose it is possible to enclose under a tray of the newspaper or magazines (but you remember – the design at the same time has to remain steady). If at some point you notice that the cat feels discomfort, jumping on this "tower" - for a while suspend growth of a design, let's an animal get used.
4. As the tray rises above and above above the ground – gradually reduce amount of filler in it. If by that moment as the cat's toilet will reach toilet bowl height, the cat gets used to do without filler at all – it will be simpler to it to adapt to new conditions.
5. Make sure that your Cat without tension jumps in a tray, and does not experience difficulties, doing the things at height. And now remove newspapers (it is desirable to throw out them from the house in general) and you will put a tray directly on a toilet bowl. Sitting for this purpose should be raised. Surely check stability of a design – the tray should not be unsteady, it will not be pleasant to a cat.
6. After your favourite several times unmistakably used a tray – remove it, at the same time it is so far as soon as it is possible (that the animal could not find it on a smell). Now the cat who already got used to celebrate the need in this place needs only – to use one a toilet bowl on its direct appointment!
