1. Start a parrot in completely equipped cage. In advance think of a stern, in a drinking bowl fresh water has to be poured. During the first hours do not disturb a bird, let she will quietly look round and will understand that nothing threatens it. If in the house there live other animals, then initially it is better to move away them from the room.
2. Quietly you approach a cage, tenderly talking to a parrot. Try not to do sharp movements which can frighten a bird. Parrots by the nature are very inquisitive. Very soon you will notice that the birdie began to react quietly to your approach, ceased to be afraid of voice sounds.
3. Domestication to a hand will be the next stage. Approach a cage, tenderly talking to the pet, offer him through twigs delicacy. Small pieces of apple or carrot well will be suitable for this purpose. As soon as the bird begins to take them, we try to open carefully a door and to offer delicacy from a hand in a cage. It worked? Then we put delicacy on a palm: to reach it, the parrot should put on a hand one pad in the beginning, and then and another. At this moment try not to frighten off the pet, you practically achieved result - the parrot sits on a palm!
4. When the parrot gets used to eat from your hand, it is possible to try to treat the pet and out of a cage. Gradually the parrot will begin to get on a hand and without delicacy - communication with the owner gives to a bird pleasure too.
