Dry feeds are convenient and simple in application. Producers of forages a premium and a super-premium class provide a wide choice of specialized diets. But it is even necessary to transfer to the best and qualitative forage of a puppy gradually, within five-seven days.
Instruction
1. In the first day the share of a dry feed should not exceed the fifth part of a daily diet of a puppy. Let's a puppy try a new forage, and mix the rest with usual food. Watch a puppy. At emergence allergic reactions (an itch, reddening of skin of ears, between fingers, etc.) transition to a new forage should be stopped.
2. In the second day it is possible to reduce a share of a usual diet, and to add a dry feed to morning and evening feeding. If it entailed disorders of digestion, it is necessary to pass to a new forage more carefully, or in general for a while to refuse this idea.
3. In the third day replace completely one of feedings with the third part of standard daily rate of a forage. It is the best of all if it is morning or day feeding.
4. For the fourth or fifth day it is possible to exclude old food from a diet gradually. You watch closely that the puppy always had in free access a fresh drinking water. Try not to exceed standard daily rate of delivery of a forage (the table of norms, as a rule, can be found on packing with a forage).
