Your senior pet considers himself the full owner in the territory, and arrival of the kid can be regarded by him as occupation. Animals can be jealous too so show that appearance of the kid did not change your attitude towards the old resident at all. If acquaintance took place normally, then again divide animals on rooms. Some time is better not to allow them to meet alone. Never caress the beginner in the presence of the old resident, it you can provoke a jealousy attack. In the presence of the beginner all attention only to the senior. It is necessary to feed animals from different bowls. Do not assume that one of them ate from a bowl of another.
