1. The traditional way of bathing suits the majority of budgerigars: - pour into a bathtub for birds warm water (water temperature has to be slightly higher than room temperature); - water in a bath has to be clear, and after bathing at once changes and completely pours out. After bathing try to remove water in which your parrot since he will drink this dirty water bathed. Put a bath with water for bathing not more often than once a week. And sunny summer days can be an exception hot.
2. To interest a parrot who does not want to bathe throw his favourite toys into water. It is also possible to try to entice him favourite sweets. The bath which hangs behind a cage, and not vice versa will be the best place for bathing. Also for a bath it is possible to use different tanks. For example, unused tray of a cat's toilet, etc.
3. Some parrots purposely pretend that they do not like to bathe. They like to do it, but they do not like the tank which you offered the pet. Some parrots like to bathe in ware which bottom is laid out by a grass. As "a green bottom" it is possible to use a plantain, a dandelion or other similar herbs.
