The Shar-Pei, unlike other breeds of dog, does not need frequent bathing. An unpleasant smell of "dog", the dog publishes only at emergence of any problems with health. You remember – frequent bathing, more than once in a month, can lead to appearance of dandruff.
It is required to you
- - bathroom or deep basin;
- - warm water;
- - special dog shampoo;
- - special dog powder (at will);
- - special conditioner for wire-haired breeds of dog;
- - towel and/or hair dryer.
Instruction
1. Impregnate with oil cotton tampons and close dogs ears. Whenever possible do not wash the head of a dog at all as if dirty water accidentally gets into ears to a Shar-Pei - inflammation will not manage to be avoided. Fill a bathtub or a deep basin with warm water (no more than 35C). Water has to be so much that it covered paws of a Shar-Pei, at most – reached a breast of a dog. Surely lay a rag or a rubber rug on a bottom of a bathtub or a basin, it is necessary to make it in order that the dog did not fall, having slipped.
2. Place a dog in a bathtub with water. Properly moisten wool and apply on it special dog shampoo (best of all tar or sulfuric) with the easy massing movements. Do not use usual shampoo as after its application on skin of a Shar-Pei there can be reddenings and irritations. Wash a dog carefully, but carefully. Surely clean all dirt from folds. After the end of washing, wash away residues of shampoo from a body of a Shar-Pei a large amount of pure and warm water.
3. Wipe a dog a soft big towel if it is indoors cool - dry up her the hair dryer. Carefully dry the hair dryer all places located in hard-to-reach spots. For this purpose it is possible use also special dog powder (absorbent). After bathing use the special conditioner for wire-haired breeds of dog. In order to avoid cold and overcooling, you do not bring a Shar-Pei to the street after bathing at least within three hours. If you think that for your dog of one bathing in a month it is not enough, use dry shampoos.
