Instruction
1. Visit pet-shop and buy for your pet special dust or sand for acceptance of bathtubs. Use of river or sea sand is inadmissible because of high content of pathogenic bacteria. Besides, grains of sand of these types of sand have irregular shape that promotes damage of fur of a chinchilla and bad absorption of moisture. Ideal option for bathing will be volcanic dust in which animals take baths, being in natural to Wednesday dwellings. Upon sand purchase attentively read what is written on packing. It has to be made of natural natural materials, have bactericidal properties and not cause allergies.
2. After purchase surely check quality of a product. For this purpose rub a little sand between palms. In sand large impregnations that it did not scratch skin should not be felt. The quality goods will leave behind a small deposit of sandy dust. Drip on sand to steam of drops of water. If it at once absorbs moisture in itself(himself) and will stick together in a lump which when grinding will turn into clay mix, sand means good.
3. Get in pet-shop a special kupalka for chinchillas. For one individual it is possible to buy small capacity, and for several – the closed terrarium. But also the usual round aquarium or a 3-liter jar can approach.
