1. So, the first and necessary condition is the choice future "fathers" and "mothers". Remember that it is necessary to couple healthy and mobile birds. Weak parents can give only unhealthy posterity. Birds have to be well-fed, but not too. The most optimum age which is ideal for reproduction - from a year to four years.
2. The second and not less important condition – selection of couple. The male and a samochka have to know well each other, they have to have a mutual sympathy. Observe the favourites. As a rule, the loving couple constantly is together, both the male, and a female easily distinguish each other among other parrots. Having chosen itself the partner, the male actively looks after her, cleans feathers and feeds from a beak, and "lady" accepts courtings. You should not create couple artificially. If birds do not accept each other, then and you will hardly wait for posterity.
3. Having noticed suitable couple and having transplanted it in a separate cage, you need to take care of preparation of conditions for nesting. For this purpose it is necessary to make a nested box. Do it of a tree, suspend outside of a cage not to take a lot of place. You can choose the size and a form at discretion.
4. Parrots do not build nests therefore on a bottom of a nested box fill and level a layer in 3 or 4 cm couple of glasses of dry-through sawdust, it is the best of all - birch. Do not use sawdust of coniferous breeds of trees because they contain pitches. For disinfecting of a nest from parasites add a spoon of dry flowers of a pharmaceutical camomile to sawdust.
5. During nesting carefully you watch a diet of the favourites. They need to give fresh branches of a linden, greens, a rowan. Also include boiled egg and carrots in the menu of birds. Grain mix remains the main forage. When nesting it is important to remember that in a cage always there have to be a chalk and a pounded egg shell. They are necessary for replenishment of calcium in an organism of a bird. Do not forget to change water regularly.
6. Approximately for the tenth day after pairing the first egg appears. Parrots hatch out eggs within 21 or 23 days. Then naked and blind baby birds hatch. Feed them both a male, and a female. In a week at baby birds eyes open, and in a month they completely feather.
7. After emergence of posterity, in two weeks, carefully clean a nested box. Replace baby birds for the period of cleaning in a box or other nested box. Surely examine baby birds. Remove dirt from plumage and pads.
8. Then replace sawdust in a box. Make this procedure of times a week. Return baby birds and the eggs which remained whole to a clean nested box. Do it as fast as possible since the female after touch to baby birds and eggs can not accept and throw out them from a nest.
