Animals need to be held in a big terrarium (if there is an opportunity – that in the street open-air cage), in which water level should not exceed 12 cm.
3. Mating dance of krasnoukhy turtles happens in water and comes down to the fact that the male, having addressed a muzzle a female, kind of "strokes" her muzzle the long claws. Process of pairing takes from 5 to 15 minutes. After one fertilization the krasnoukhy turtle can make 4 — 5 layings. To lay eggs, the female of a krasnoukhy turtle needs the island of sushi, it is better lonely. Before making it, the female pulls out a round nest in sand or soil, smachivt it water from anal bubbles. On average in a laying there are 10 eggs, about 4 cm in the diameter. The laid eggs as soon as possible place in an incubator. There they ripen at a temperature of 21 — 30 °C. Time from a laying to an exit of tortoises from eggs can vary from two to five months.
