2. Well tomato juice or consumption of tomatoes helps. These products prevent emergence of a scale and raid on teeth of a Yorkshire terrier. Non-compliance with hygiene attracts an unpleasant smell from a mouth of a dog. As prevention it is good to use artificial stones, carrots or crackers.
3. It is necessary to buy a special toothbrush for dogs in pet-shop. They are long, to the bristle located in two ranks and put on a finger of the person. Soft impact of a bristle on gums is made by massage effect and provokes growth of second teeth. It is necessary to buy toothpaste for dogs. There are means with various additives, for example with meat taste or mint. The last not really are pleasant to puppies. Such pastes do not demand washing off by water, they can be eaten and they do not contain substances which will negatively work on digestive system of a Yorkshire terrier.
4. After change of teeth (7 months are more senior) the Yorkshire terriers, for prevention of emergence of a scale, need to give time in a week of a stone with addition of a chlorophyll.
5. It is possible to use mix of soda and lemon juice which need to be rubbed in gums of a Yorkshire terrier daily and also to give him apples. It is possible to use such structure: to mix couple of drops of iodine with a spoon of baking soda, to add water and to wipe with this structure of a gum and teeth of a dog.
6. It is necessary to accustom a Yorkshire terrier to toothbrushing gradually. For a start it is necessary to interest the pet, for example, to give to him tasty food from hands for three weeks and at the same time to touch his muzzle several times in day. Then to try to move apart lips and to touch to the teeth a finger. After that it is necessary to encourage a dog. Such manipulations it is worth moving until the Yorkshire terrier does not bare a jaw and will not provide to it free access of cleaners.
