2. Choose the place for installation of a trap. Usually hunters use such biological feature of an otter: she suits the toilet out of a hole, specially rising by the coast. In a dung of an animal a lot of fish scales therefore it will be simple to find the place of a toilet meet. Here it is possible to put a trap, and there will be a chance to catch an animal.
3. Also place traps near ice-holes, near holes, on beaver dams, in places of beaver vylaz which otters often use. This animal rather strong, from a small trap it will be able to escape without problems therefore use trap No. 4-№5.
4. Establish a trap in water on depth about 30-40 centimeters, slightly disguise it. Do not forget to tie it to a peg or to a potask. It is also possible to tie cargo to a trap that will reduce resistance of an animal and will accelerate drowning.
5. Hide a metal rope under water not to frighten off a small animal.
