Classes of dry cat food
All dry cat food can conditionally be divided into three groups: 1. Expensive dry feeds of "premium class" are the best specialized option of feeding of cats. They include all substances, necessary for the correct development of animals, including vitamins, have high comprehensibility and contain an animal protein without dyes, flavoring additives and soy. Money by production of such forages goes only for acquisition of quality ingredients, but not for their advertizing promotion. 2. Commercial dry cat food though are polnoratsionny, but it is impossible to call them specialized. They differ in attractive appearance and packing. Dry cat food of "economy class" do not contain a set of nutrients, necessary for the correct development of animals, differ in bad comprehensibility and are made of the most inexpensive components. The animal protein in them is replaced by vegetable additives and soy. Such dry cat food are only additive to the main food allowance of animals.
What has to be good dry cat food
Before choosing any given food for the favourite, surely study information provided on his label. Good dry cat food consists from: • meat, and from it, but not from an offal of animal origin. On the label also one of types of meat, the most widespread of which chicken meat is considered today, has to be designated. Keep in mind that beef is used only in sterns of "premium class"; • than cereals and vegetables which content in a stern should not exceed 50% and it is better if it is only 25-30%; • long list of various vitamins and minerals; • natural preservatives, such as vitamins E and With, the fats which are responsible for safety in a dry feed.
What should not be in dry cat food
The good dry feed does not contain: • low-quality sources of protein, for example, such doubtful offal as ground beef skin; • antioxidants and chemical preservatives, for example, BHA, BHT, Propylgallate, Ethoxyquin; • sugar and caramel; • dyes; • empty fillers, such as cellulose and shell of the nuts causing in cats feeling of saturation without transfer to an organism of really useful substances.
