The distemper is a viral disease with which, theoretically, dogs of any age can get sick, but most often it puppies aged up to one year have. It is connected with weak immunity, intensive growth, change of teeth and many other factors. Birds, other animals, insects, the person can be carriers of a virus. 4. Depending on a condition of an animal and defeat of any given bodies, it can be appointed prozerin, furosemide, midokalm, strychnine, finlipsin and also antibiotics: norsulfazol, gentamycin, levomitsetin, etc.
5. Specific serum, immunomodulators, vitamins is in addition entered. Treatment of a distemper is carried out within two-three weeks.
6. During treatment the dog can give cottage cheese, ground beef, egg, milk.
7. The national method of treatment of a distemper is that ordinary vodka joins a mouth of a dog. Depending on the weight of a dog, the dose can be from 100 to 300 g. Very often this method helps, but does not guarantee recovery. Most often it becomes in villages and practices on simple watchdogs.
8. For prevention of a distemper it is necessary to impart a puppy at the age of 2.5-3 months. For carrying out an inoculation it is necessary to address to veterinary clinic.
