Such form of a plastron helps a male to keep on corps of a female when pairing. At females a plastron flat, the foul place is located closer on a tail, than at males, also it can remind an asterisk, at males it has the form of a longitudinal strip.
4. At krasnoukhy turtles the claws at males are much longer, than at females.
5. At females of trionex it is possible to observe hillocks on an armor, at males they smooth out with age. A tail at males also much longer, than at females.
6. At males of adult marsh turtles brown eyes, and at females - yellow.
