To define a sex at the British kitten sometimes can be difficult: genitals at them only begin to be formed, and the fluffy hair hides meanwhile hardly noticeable differences. Nevertheless precisely to define who before you – a cat or a cat, it is possible even in the first days of life of a kitten.
Instruction
1. Take a kitten on hands, put on a palm on a tummy and accurately raise a tail. Under it you will be able to see two openings. Under the tail the anus which absolutely equally looks both at males, and at the self-check and reminds a point in a form is located.
2. If below an anus you see a vertical crack of a vulva, and the structure of genitals in general reminds the turned exclamation mark – means, before you future British lady.
3. If the second opening round is also located at some distance from an anus (at monthly kittens this distance makes about a centimeter), and the picture reminds the sign of a colon, you hold a cat in hand.
4. Sometimes at cats around "colon" (between an anal and urethral opening) it is possible to grope small swellings: it begins to be formed a scrotum. But existence of cambers is not unambiguous sign of belonging to a male: little kitties have swellings around genitals too.
5. Nipples on a stomach are also not the unambiguous sign allowing to define a sex: it is possible to notice both at males, and at the self-check, the truth at cats they is more noticeable.
6. Experienced breeders of the British cats can often define a sex of a kitten on character and behavior: samochka are usually quieter and sluggish, and males are more active and more purposeful, seek to investigate surrounding space and try to compete with the brothers.
7. At the British cats the sexual dimorphism is pronounced (that is external differences between males and females). Cats of this breed much more small than cats, their muzzle already, and structure of a body more graceful. But these distinctions are usually shown at more adult animals therefore to define a sex of a two- or three-months kitten, being guided by the size or a constitution, most likely it will not be possible.
