2. Most often the mystery of a floor is given by the anal fin located in the lower part of a paunch. At some breeds, for example, of a gurama, the guppy or lyalius, in a shape of an anal fin a floor is distinguished very easily. At females it has rounded or soft triangular shape, at males – is pointed or similar to a tubule. With age "plavnikovy" differences become more noticeable.
3. Estimate the size of small fishes. Adult females of barbus, the guppy, somik, sword-bearers are larger, males significantly more small. Most brightly sexual differences are visible at viviparous fishes - females look much more volume, especially around a paunch. Males have more streamline shape and a narrow body.
4. Pay attention to intensity of coloring. At many breeds the males are painted more brightly. For example, adult males of the guppy are easily identified from bright tail and back fins. Pearl differs in gura in the period of puberty from females in a bright orange paunch. However a lot of things depend also on color variations in breed. For example, barbusa or skalyariya can have different shades regardless of a floor and faintly painted male it is easy to confuse with a samochka.
5. The easiest to identify the adult fishes who already underwent spawning. Then at the most difficult breeds in definition external sexual differences are shown. For example, males of skalyariya find a characteristic pronounced profile with an abrupt forehead. Males of goldfishes get white hillocks on gills, and their chest fins become covered by small zazubrinka.
