The correct selection of clothes will protect a Yorkshire terrier not only from overcooling, but also will help to avoid pollution of long wool street dirt.

1. Choosing clothes for a Yorkshire terrier, it is necessary to consider not only fashion trends in this direction, but also weather conditions, features of the place of walking or need to protect hair of an exhibition dog from street dust. In cold season it is important to protect a dog from overcooling and a possible frostbite. The warmed overalls on an artificial or real fur, with a water-repellent outer layer are suitable for this purpose.
2. When choosing overalls it is recommended to pay special attention to its lining: it has to be either from silk, or from any other light, sliding fabric. Such lining will allow to dress quickly a dog and will not sputyvat her wool in koltuna. Most effectively the overalls with a hood and the closed stomach having a fastener on a back and an elastic band on trouser-legs provide protection of a Yorkshire terrier against dirt and cold. It is important to remember that the warming clothes should not be the close and holding-down movements dog.
3. In low-snow winter or dry solar spring and fall, in the absence of slush and precipitation, to a Yorkshire terrier can be too hot in the warmed overalls. For these cases decorative warm body cloths are provided. They differ from overalls in a free mouth and lack of sleeves. As a rule, such body cloths sew from soft fleece with a fastener velcro. 4. If at a Yorkshire terrier very sensitive small pillows of paws, or walking of a dog occurs in the conditions of the city using road reagents it is expedient to add animal clothes with footwear. Boots or boots have to correspond to the paw size, to be strong and waterproof, to have a dense nonskid sole.
5. In warm weather of need for clothes for a Yorkshire terrier is not present, however in certain cases it makes sense to buy light overalls or a cape of light shades from natural fabrics: cotton, silk, flax. Such clothes will allow to protect gentle skin of a dog from solar burns and will not allow wool to collect street dust and the clinging seeds of plants.
6. In off-season when at home it becomes cool, and central heating is not included yet, the house suit can be necessary for a Yorkshire terrier. As a rule, home clothing is sewed in the form of terry dressing gowns, shirts, dresses or light sports suits from the natural, breathing fabrics.
