The correct organization of space in a cage of budgerigars – a key to health and long life of birds. It is important to get a good cage initially. 1. It is very important not to overload a cage with objects. Each centimeter of space has to be used rationally. Poles which were in a cage upon purchase can be thrown out at once. It is worth changing water in a drinking bowl once a day, and in the summer 3-4 times a day.
3. Feeding troughs usually have on the lower tier of a cage, practically at the pallet. Budgerigars at all not neatniks. They eat grain, and scatter a peel or leave in a feeding trough. 4. The arrangement of a mineral stone or sepia for budgerigars is not of particular importance. The special substances which are contained in them are required for birds and therefore your pet will always find a useful pebble on cage rods.
5. At arrangement of a cage for budgerigars it is important not to go too far in toys. Ideal option is one short flight of stairs, a swing and a hand bell. It is possible to hang up still plastic ringlets for a lasagna. When there are no owners the house, the bird will find in a cage, than to occupy itself. The main arsenal of toys for budgerigars is better to have at the special stand in the room where birds will fly during walk on the apartment.
6. Holders for a grass and fruit it is better to have near a door. Budgerigars very much love juicy fresh fruit and vegetables, field herbs and often destroy them in a few minutes. It is important to attach the holder so that it was possible to remove or replace quickly enough him, not too disturbing birds.
7. In the correct arrangement to a cage the free space is important. Birds should not fight with each other for free top poles, and in the lower tier has to be rather spacious and it is safe that there were no injuries.
