3. The young tritons who just finished metamorphoses need feeding by small insects. Try to feed animal plant louses in the summer. Tritons with pleasure eat the whole colonies of these insects. Cut off the branches of plants which are stuck around by a plant louse, and spread out on a terrarium bottom. Change them in two-three days. You watch that together with a plant louse ants did not get to a terrarium, they disturb tritons.
4. Except plant louses it is possible to offer tritons of a larva of a cricket. Buy the crickets ready to reproduction, in pet-shop or in the market. Lodge them in a separate aquarium. 5. Put in an aquarium with crickets a tray with the humidified earth, thickness of soil has to be not less than 5 cm. Periodically you loosen the earth and you watch that it did not dry up. You feed adult crickets with pieces of vegetables, cabbage leaves. Temperature for cultivation of +25 degrees.
6. Larvae of crickets leave the earth in two weeks after a laying. Also it is necessary to feed with them young tritons. When you adapt to the mode of hatching of nymphs, you will be able in 1-2 days prior to an exit of juveniles of crickets just to put a tray with the earth in a terrarium to tritons. It will save you from tiresome catching of small insects.
7. Tritons during the water period of life can be fed with small aquarium fishes, like neon or the guppy. For this purpose it is enough to start small fishes directly in water to tritons.
8. Adult tritons during the land period can also be fed from tweezers with small cut shrimps, larvae of a may-bug, a large crank, earthworms. It is worth accustoming a triton to find food independently. Put it on a bottom of a terrarium and you watch when the amphibian itself finds food. Surely remove the food remains.
9. If you use for feeding on the land of a live crank, put it in a pan with low edges that worms did not creep away, but the triton could eat independently. A crank it is possible to use also ice cream, the main thing, not to place emphasis only on this type of food. Diversify the menu of tritons with other insects.
10. You feed young tritons daily. Adults three-four times a week are more senior than two years. It is necessary to feed until the animal itself does not refuse food. Tritons, as well as at some frogs, have no problems with a reforage.
