At the menu of mummy there have to be various types of meat (beef, chicken, fish) - at this stage meat has to make the main part of a diet as protein is a basis for construction of cages of an organism. Also in a diet there have to be porridges, boiled vegetables (carrots, beet), cottage cheese, cheese, fermented milk products.
6. In the period of a lactation surely give to the dog vitamins and mineral fertilizing for pregnant women and the feeding animals, if in a diet there are not enough vitamins and minerals, then it will surely affect health of mom and puppies.
7. Do not forget about clear fresh water - the dog always has to have to it an access.
8. In the period of a lactation it is better to feed a dachshund in the small portions, but it is frequent. The feeding mom needs much more food, than to a dog without puppies, at the same time food is acquired much better if to give it fractionally, without overloading digestive system.
