4. Examine semi-deserts, dry steppes, grassy and shrubby heathlands, there you can meet a big-eared hedgehog. This small animal lives in damp ravines, in the irrigated lands and along the rivers. Never meets in dense herbage and in naked deserts. In the summer the small animal hides in natural shelters. 5. Very often hedgehogs meet also in the cities. These are night animals, in the afternoon them you should not look for. Hedgehogs love apples, go outside at night and leave these fruit in a grass.
