1. Ask passersby whether they noticed an animal and in what party it ran, departed or spread? You can show the pet's photo which is available for you.
2. You walk round the neighboring yards, whenever possible looking to basements, manholes, refuse chutes or other secluded places. Your pet appeared in unusual conditions for himself where the danger can threaten him, and, naturally, he hid.
3. If the animal is not found at once, stick announcements of loss on columns, advertize with a photo in different newspapers or post online, specify in them the pet's signs where and when it was lost.
4. Call free help on search of pets if such service is available in your city. In it all information from veterinary institutions, from animals shelters about the found animals is collected. Perhaps, someone noticed your animal and reported about it. Do not forget to make the same in a similar situation.
5. Leave in information bureau of data on your pet: color, breed, age, sex, special signs and habits, existence of a collar or lead. When the fugitive is found, you will be surely told.
6. Submit the application with the indication of signs for catching of an animal to veterinary service. Search will be carried out by means of specialized services.
7. See a free card file of the gone pets on the Internet. Here all information is systematized, specify the exact place of loss (area, the city, the street).
8. Use any chance for search. Do not think that the animal will be acquired and will come, it will just become puzzled in the city (the pet carries out the most part of life in the closed space). Such relation to a situation, perhaps, will cost life of your favourite. Drive away from yourself thoughts that the pet could die or cruelly treat him; hope that everything will be good, and you will find him.
