1. First of all it is necessary to get a suitable lodge. Rabbit cages happen different - single-section, two-section, with mesh and rack floors – for every taste. 2. Cage length for one animal has to be about a meter, width – 50-60 centimeters, height - 35-40 centimeters. In a partition it is necessary to make a manhole of 20 by 20 centimeters in size. It is necessary to floor with a small inclination to a back wall. That it was easier to remove a rabbit lodge, it is better to put a pallet down. Also inside there have to be 2 feeding troughs - for loose forages and hay, a drinking bowl. 4. The rabbit-hutch is put in the shed or on the street, but it is obligatory where there is no strong wind and it is dry. If animals are planned to be supported and in the winter, it is necessary to prepare for them the warmed room where cages will be transferred to time of cold weather.
5. It is possible to feed rabbits with various food – green, juicy, rough, the concentrated sterns and food of animal origin, compound feeds, vitamin and mineral supplements. It is better to give all this in a complex. Forages should be prepared correctly before distribution.
6. So, dry grain is crushed and humidified, then included in the list of bourgeoises. Corn and bean is presoaked for a period of 8 till 24 o'clock. Greens are not given in unlimited number, and dosed, fresh grain is couched, tubers wash out. Rabbits well eat hay, branches of a linden, pear, an apple-tree, an aspen, an acacia. Rowan berries, acorns are necessary in their diet. It is possible to give also the remains of porridges, pasta, bread.
