- safe razor or the machine for shaving (special for dogs or usual), an adhesive plaster 2-4 cm wide, scissors, matches, cotton ear sticks or toothpicks.
Instruction
1. Prepare a doggie for the procedure of a podkleivaniye of ears. It is necessary to remove excess wool from the surface of auricles: at first from outer side of an ear it is accurate not to injure an auricle, the machine or the special electric razor to shave wool. Then to do the same with ear inside. It is necessary to shave off wool on the course of growth of hair not to wound skin. Experts recommend not to shave off those filaments which grow at the edge of an auricle (they form a peculiar fringe): at the expense of them the ear will have later a triangular correct appearance. It is also necessary to remove sulfur from an ear and to pull out (whenever possible) hairs from auricle depth.
2. To take a plaster 2-4 cm wide and to cut it strips 10 cm long. The plaster can be taken not the most sticky in order that the procedure of unsticking took place then easier. But everything depends also on temperament of a dog: some especially active individuals tear off such plaster therefore owners re-stick later ears already most strongly glued plaster.
3. To straighten to a Yorkshire terrier an ear and from outer side to paste a plaster horizontally to a floor, to turn a piece of a plaster and to paste it already on an internal surface of an ear. To do the same operation with the second ear. To cut off the excess sticking-out plaster. Some experts advise for bigger rigidity of a design from external or inside of an ear of a dog a plaster to paste matches, Q-tips or toothpicks - they support an ear in addition, but it is necessary to do it extremely accurately and carefully that the Yorkshire terrier was not wounded on game time.
4. To take one more piece of a medical plaster and to fasten the standing ears with a crossing point so that between them there was a distance about 4 cm.
5. The second way: To turn off the prepared and shaved ear of a Yorkshire terrier into a tubule: to take by an outer edge of an ear and to wrap it around the inner edge.
6. To take prepared (as it is described in a step 2) a piece of a medical plaster and to wrap them the ear curtailed into a tubule. To do the same with the second ear of a doggie. At this way of bonding it is possible not to fasten ears among themselves with a crossing point.
7. With such stickers on ears the doggie has to go of 3-10 days (depending on complexity of a case), then to take a one-day break and again to glue ears for the same period.
