1. Pay attention to a back of your hamster. If it is decorated with a dark strip on all length, and a little body of light gray or pale-yellow color, you are a happy owner of an Asian hamster. These are dwarfish hamsters which size in an adult state does not exceed 10 cm. One more characteristic of hamsters of this breed is the tail. It is very short, almost imperceptible.
