1. The mane should be washed by means of the shampoo and the conditioner intended only for horses. Do it every two weeks, and in cold season – is more rare. Usually animal wash completely, but if there is no such opportunity, then it is enough to be limited to mane and tail care.
2. Comb a mane as after washing, and daily. For this purpose use special combs and brushes with a natural bristle. But previously choose all large garbage from a mane: sawdust, rep and other. Then sort tangled locks on separate hairs. Conduct a comb in the direction from roots down.

4. After the mane dries, it can take an ugly form: to twist, be electrified, even to stand on end. Therefore it is better still wet to cover it with a special body cloth.
5. It is possible to give the beautiful form to a disobedient mane and so. Twist separate bunches of hair in plaits and record an elastic band at some distance (3-4 cm) from a crest. In order that it was easier to cope with an unruly hair, previously process them special gel for laying.
6. Braid a mane. Distinguish many various options, but continental braids especially beautifully look. That to make them, divide a mane into small locks and fix by elastic bands. Now take two next locks, connect together at distance in 7 cm and again fix by an elastic band. Further you halve each turned-out tail and besides connect halves to next.
