The name of breed "rabbits giants" speaks for itself. These great representatives of fauna are big brothers of all known little big-eared fluffies. There are more than ten breeds of long-eared giants. Care for this handsome does not make special work.

1. It is necessary to keep the pet in a spacious cage. You should not forget that it is actually a giant of the rabbit world. To check whether the cage is adequate to the sizes of a rabbit, observe it. If the giant can quietly rise and make 2-3 jumps, then the cage size suits it.
2. On a bottom put straw, shaving, sawdust or the special pressed filler, a layer to 5 cm. If a bottom mesh, then add group B vitamins to a diet of a rabbit, and you also watch that the pet did not freeze a pad.
3. The dwelling of a rabbit has to be clean. Use a scraper, a brush, a shovel and other stock. At least 2 times a year you carry out disinfection of a cage. For this purpose use various cleaners which can be bought in veterinary pharmacy. For reduction of amount of dirt in a cage accustom a rabbit to a tray (use metal baths up to 10 cm high). After several days of observation stand a toilet in that corner which will be chosen by your pet. As a rule, problems with it do not arise.
4. It is better to choose a bowl for food ceramic, and a drinking bowl – drop. Food has to be balanced and various. You feed a giant with fresh food. Enter a diet: vegetables and fruit, especially carrots, apples, beet, boiled potatoes and, of course, cabbage. It is possible to feed with any kind (except red), but do not overfeed as it can lead to a lethal outcome. The fresh grass (dandelion, a wormwood, a plantain, a burdock) and branches with leaves is an obligatory vitamin supplement. In the summer - branches of a birch, a rowan, an acacia, a willow, and in the winter - hay (it has to be constant also in unlimited number) and coniferous pine pads.
5. Are contraindicated: foxglove, dope, henbane, euphorbia, lily of the valley, and also sour, spicy and salty food. It is not necessary to give also haricot with a rhubarb. Water in a cage has to be always!
6. Rabbits need to grind off teeth therefore put a piece of wood in a cage (it is the best of all than fruit trees). Eternally green trees are poisonous.
7. Regularly cut to a rabbit claws. Make vaccination against myxomatosis, a viral hemorrhagic disease, a pastrerillez. Walking a rabbit (on the house and on the street), do not forget about a lead. Also you remember, the main thing in leaving is an attention, love and care.
