1. The ideal option is to get a terrarium for your pet. But consider that he demands special, quite labor-consuming leaving. Out of terrarium lizard can easily catch a cold, but in the dwelling she risks to catch any given infections in case of non-compliance with zoohygiene standards.
2. The size of the acquired terrarium has to depend on the size of a lizard: its length has to be two lengths of her body, and width – one. Vertical terrariums at least two meters high are necessary for wood lizards (like iguanas and chameleons) - these small animals need more space.
3. Wood lizards need also to equip a terrarium, that is to place inside living plants and branches which they will be able to climb. Buy plants in pots and besides only those which will survive in conditions, necessary for a lizard (that is will be able to transfer a certain temperature condition and level of humidity). Do not buy artificial plants at all.
4. Select soil depending on specific characteristics of your favourite. Universal option – shaving which in pet-shops is sold for rodents. Mix of sand and the earth will suit sandy types. It equally concerns the tropical types and lizards living in a temperate climate (ideal temperature for the last is only couple degrees lower).

7. As for food, the fruit and vegetables which are not processed by chemicals rely herbivorous lizards. If you bought the apples covered with wax by all means clean off a skin. Feed up carnivorous lizards snails, melkonarezanny fish; sometimes it is possible to add to a diet of a little crude meat peeled from bones and hryashchik.
