The Siberian likes - one of the few breeds which homeland is Russia. They are perfectly socialized, love children, are very mobile and are not aggressive. Besides, likes are hardy and adapt not only to an environment, but also to life in the house.

1. At the beginning of the last century the representatives of this breed were actively used on Chukotka as riding dogs. If you decided to get houses to like, provide it long and active walks. The Siberian likes are very hardy and tireless therefore coming for walk, do not forget to take a plate frisbee and other favourite toys of a dog.
2. The natural tendency to overcoming long distances is still strong in representatives of this breed. Therefore provide to the pet of walk to those places where he was not yet. The instinct of a research does not allow dog breeders to walk layek without lead as small animals who occur in the path of this dog hunter are perceived as potential production. For the same reason you should not keep in the house a laika together with rabbits, hamsters, etc.
3. Life in the open-air cage is necessary to the Siberian laika more on temper, than the city apartment. Though many dog breeders will confirm, as in the private house the representatives of this breed get on not bad. To socialize a puppy, already at monthly age as often as possible take it on hands, stroke. Feeling of devotion to the person at these dogs in blood therefore if you caress them from children's age, they will never show aggressions (if the face team does not sound).
4. The Siberian likes have dense wool with which to them any weather phenomena are not terrible. In the native habitat the molt at them happens two times a year. Bathe a dog only as required (fleas, strong pollution). All other care for wool comes down to regular comb-out by a special crest (about 2-3 times a week). If you take it on hunting, then after surely comb wool, remove all prickles and burdocks. Examine paws regarding cuts or other injuries.
5. In process of growth cut to a dog claws. Accustom it to this procedure from early age. Cut off only 2-3 mm so that not to touch a blood vessel, differently to a dog it will be sore and bleeding will begin. Buy in pet-shop special solution for eye care as in corners of eyes of the Siberian laika allocations periodically accumulate. Eliminate them with the Q-tips moistened in solution. Examine ears of a dog. As a rule, cleaning is required only when the foreign matter gets into them. Address the veterinarian and the manufacturer to make the most favorable food allowance.
