1. A siphon - a tubule of small length. Make it of any hose, it has to be about 50 cm long, and here diameter does not matter. But the diameter is less, the water from an aquarium will longer go down. You can make and longer tube - will be slightly more convenient to be merged.
2. If you in an aquarium have whitebaits or small adult small fishes, put on a gauze which record a thread or a usual elastic one end. Small fishes can flow away together with water through a siphon that is undesirable, they can be frightened and even to die. If you have large breeds of fishes and they more, than diameter of a hose, can not use a gauze.
3. Principle of draining of water siphon: insert a tubule into an aquarium, create negative pressure, place the second end of a tube in capacity and merge the necessary amount of water. Replace the drained water clean, but only not water. If you do not want to lower air from a tube a mouth as it is possible to have suffered much dirty water, can fill a tubule with water, stop up the end with a finger and insert accurately into an aquarium.
