1. Take the capacity chosen by you as a basis for a terrarium. First of all it is necessary to take care of tightness of a design. Allocations of animals should not be absorbed in a surface of a terrarium or follow outside therefore if in an aquarium there are noticeable cracks in walls or the bottom, surely close up them liquid nails, glass glue or special construction mastic. In the future it considerably will facilitate to you cleaning for animals.
2. After everything is tight, it is possible to start arrangement of the terrarium. On a surface there should not be at all a naked glass that the animal was not injured about it when moves on the dwelling. For overland turtles use stones, sand or small pebble, it is also possible to fill a terrarium with sawdust or special wood filler. Sawdust and filler are convenient in use as they are deleted at pollution and replace with new - dry and clean. But for animals, certainly, it is the best of all to use natural soil - stones, sand and pebble.
3. The terrarium has to maintain a certain temperature for your pet. Now it is possible to find special lamps and heaters including for terrariums in shops. Initially such simple adaptation will provide your terrarium with light and a little more high temperature. And then it is possible to buy the special heater also. In the opposite end from a source of heat of a terrarium establish the shelter in which your animal will sleep and hide. For food and drinking water it is better to place capacity closer at the warm place, but, it is desirable, not under heat source.
