Squirrels are the amusing and nice small animals living both in forests, and in city parks and squares. These animals do not fall for the winter into hibernation therefore it is no wonder that city and countrymen try to feed up rodents. For squirrels, as well as for birds, it is possible to make a feeding trough.

- - two pieces of plywood;
- - wooden pallet;
- - rope;
- - nails;
- - corncob;
- - forage.
Instruction
1. The only difference of a feeding trough for squirrels from a birds feeder are its sizes. Squirrel "dining room" has to be more bird's and with larger entrance. However, dexterous rodents can and independently expand an entrance of a close bird's feeding trough, having just gnawed through it.
2. The simplest option is to make a feeding trough of a box. But, if sparrows and titmouses suit packages from under milk, then for the squirrel dining room it is better to choose a container of the bigger size. The box from under a teapot will approach, for example. In a sidewall cut out an entrance through which the small animal without effort will get into a feeding trough and will be chosen back. To the top wall attach a rope. For this purpose cut out small openings, pass through them the ends of a rope and tie small knots from a reverse side. Now the feeding trough can be hung up in the forest.
3. Very beautifully wooden squirrels feeders look. For its creation you need a wooden pallet with sides and two pieces of plywood. Pieces of plywood are fastened with small carnations from above among themselves and beaten to edges of a pallet. Such feeding trough can both be hung up on a tree, and to put on a low column on which it will be convenient to small animals to get.
4. Idle time, but the feeding trough which is very loved by proteins will become the corncob which is put on a sharp bough or suspended for a rope to a tree. The convenience of this feeding trough is that pigeons and titmouses often steal food from squirrel feeding troughs, and corn is too firm food for them.
5. As it was already told above, the feeding trough size how many its contents is not so much important for squirrels. Offer a squirrel pine nuts, a filbert, dried mushrooms, seeds of a flax or oats, sunflower seeds. Remember that the most hard time for squirrels is the early spring (squirrel stocks of seeds and nuts begin to sprout and become unsuitable for food) therefore do not stop fertilizing with retreat of cold weather.
