The aquarium cannot function without correctly arranged and connected aquarian filter. It will provide purity of water in an aquarium and, respectively, good health of its inhabitants. The external aquarian filter it is possible to make with own hands.

- glass tank, glass tiles, sealant, acetone, hose, beaten brick, pebble, sand, pump
Instruction
1. For a start manufacture the tank for the filter with four compartments. Divide a squared glass tank into four identical compartments by means of glass tiles. Consider that the first and third partitions have to begin from the basis of the glass tank and come to an end for several centimeters to a surface. At the same time raise the central glass tile on 3 cm from a bottom that water from the second compartment could leak in the third. To attach partitions to tank walls, use sealant. Places where sealant adjoins to glass, surely degrease acetone.
2. Wait for full drying of sealant (several hours for this purpose are necessary) and to install a rectangular container near an aquarium. At the same time it has to be located a little above an aquarium.
3. Make plates with cuts which have to approach by the size under a bottom of each compartment. Pay attention that such plates need to be prepared only for the first, second and third compartments. Plates will provide water flow without obstacles, at the same time compartments will not get littered.
4. Establish a hose which will extort water from an aquarium. Such flexible hose since one end will be able to suck in water from an aquarium by means of the pump. Other end of a hose will be in the first compartment of the filter. Water, thus, will be able to pass on all compartments. The fourth compartment will leave a hose through which clear water will come to an aquarium.
5. Further fill compartments with the corresponding materials for filtration. In the first compartment fill up a beaten brick which can detain very effectively large particles of garbage. In the second compartment fill previously washed up pebble. Such filter will detain already smaller garbage. In the third compartment there has to be a sand or foam rubber.
6. To start the filter, fill all compartments with water, connect the hose bringing water out of an aquarium to the pump. And the hose on which water comes to an aquarium will work with the siphoning help.
