Self-made toys for dogs have to be not only entertaining and attractive to an animal, but also made of safe, strong materials. The size, a type of filler and a form of a product is chosen depending on dog breed and its age: it is unlikely the puppy of decorative breed needs thick bar of a tree about which so well sharpen the cut teeth of a dog of office breeds.
Textile toys
A great way to get rid of a blockage of rags of fabric or old jeans is production of self-made toys for dogs. Before tailoring of a product material has to be surely carefully washed without use of laundry detergent – the slight smell of the owner which can be present at fabrics, can cause further desire "to taste" any other things having the same smell in a dog.

It is important to remember that before use of a plastic bottle as a toy, without fail remove a lid and a sealing ring from it. Not less interesting option of a self-made toy is the piece of a strong tree sheathed by fabric, not colored leather or wrapped in old socks. Wood has to be strong and not emit pitch. Wooden bars from a maple, nut, an ash-tree or a birch are the most preferable to games.
