1. Choose a suitable breast-band. It is necessary to know that at cats, in difference from dogs, a neck muscle rather weak. Therefore if you decided to walk your favourite "under supervision" it is necessary to choose a breast-band, but not a collar. Any, even the softest, the collar can hurt a cat. Give preference to the breast-bands made of cotton or nylon - leather "harness" can be too heavy for an animal.
2. Attentively consider a breast-band. As a rule, it consists of the closed ring which is connected to a thong. The sizes of this ring are regulated. The lead fastens to this "design" by means of a carbine.
3. Take a cat and accurately push his head in a ring. At the same time the ring has to appear on a neck at an animal. Develop a breast-band so that the connecting crossing point was located on a throat. Make sure that the loop for fastening of a carbine is located on withers of a cat.
4. Move a thong of a breast-band and expand space between a ring and a crossing point.
5. Accurately drag the right paw of an animal in an interval between a ring and a thong. At the same time the breast-band has to capture a paw of a cat, and the crossing point to appear at him on a breast.
6. Get the free end of a thong under the left paw of a cat and clasp it. Put a cat on a floor. Push a finger between the ring lying on a neck of an animal and his throat. Make sure that the breast-band does not prevent a cat to breathe and, at the same time, it will not allow it to be turned out. Correct a crossing point and check reliability of fixing of the right paw. Tighten a thong. It is necessary to consider that if the breast-band is clasped too freely, then the animal will just be turned out from it. Therefore before walking the favourite in new "regimentals", it is necessary to make sure of reliability of a design once again.
7. It is necessary to know that it is necessary to accustom a cat to new "ammunition" gradually. At the first stage the breast-band puts on for a short time and only within the house. Only after the cat will begin to feel freely, it is possible to bring him to the first walk.
