To dogs of many breeds, for example, to boxers and Dobermann terriers, according to standards it is necessary to stop ears, and then to put them that they correctly stood. Ears in itself at them will not rise therefore you will need to use for this purpose some extras.
It is required to you
- - adhesive plaster on a cotton basis in a roll;
- - medical alcohol;
- - scissors with stupid tips;
- - baby powder;
- - Q-tips for cleaning of ears.
Instruction
1. Clean ears of a dog from internal and outer side, degrease the surface of ears from the inside, having wiped them with alcohol. Cut off from an adhesive plaster roll the piece approximately equal to length of an ear of your pet from an auricle cartilage to an ear tip. Cut it in half lengthways and paste to ear inside on all its length. Densely press fingers that the plaster was well pasted.
2. Cut off a piece of an adhesive plaster 40-50 cm long again, cut it lengthways in half and cut across on small squares. From an auricle on already pasted strip begin to glue squares to edge of an ear, imposing them at each other and blocking about 70-80% of the lower square. Densely press each square fingers, fixing among themselves.
3. Take a stick for cleaning of ears and by means of the same small squares paste it along an ear on a rigid strip of an adhesive plaster. Well record an adhesive plaster that the dog did not manage to tear off a stick when it scratches an ear or if decides that it disturbs it.
4. Powder an ear of a dog a baby powder from within. Cut an adhesive plaster on small tapes 20-25 cm long again. Paste the end of one such tape from outer side of an ear of a dog at a skull base and begin to wind an ear around, forming a cone. Do not squeeze an ear of a dog, she should not feel discomfort. The plaster has to be pasted freely that under it at the basis of an ear it was possible to push a finger.
5. Cut off the remained piece of a plaster when you reach an ear tip. Powder a baby powder the basis of an ear of a dog around the pasted plaster. Once again glue an ear with a tape from an adhesive plaster that the created cone was dense and well kept an ear in vertical position. In the same way glue the second ear and make on it a cone of tapes of an adhesive plaster.
6. Make between ears a bandage of a tape of an adhesive plaster in the form of "eight" which will allow to record both cones in parallel each other and most highly on a skull. With this design the dog has to pass not less than 10-15 days. Watch it that there was no irritation powder an ear at the basis with powder. Remove a bandage from an adhesive plaster, having scissored a cone medical with stupid tips from the inside of an ear.
