The body cloth is intended for protection of an animal against cold. It does not exclude at all that it can be both beautiful, and convenient. The body cloth does not limit your pet in movements, does not hold down gait. It has to protect a back, a stomach and a thorax of a cat. Sew it usually from several layers for bigger heat. Do you have no ready body cloth for a cat? Sew it independently.

- - top fabric;
- - average layer;
- - lower layer.
Instruction
1. To sew a body cloth for a cat you need the top fabric, it performs rather decorative functions, the average layer – something woolen, warm, and lower – it will adjoin to a body of a cat, so has to be nice on the touch (especially for bald breeds), the flannel or knitwear will approach.
2. Measure a cat on a back from the neck basis prior to the beginning of a tail. Draw a pattern in the form of a triangle which has parties rather long for a grasp of the corps of a cat, and the median is a little longer than distance from a neck to a tail. On this pattern cut all three fabrics and sew them in the necessary order: next-to-skin, warming, decorative. If the poponka puts on to a cat in off-season, it is possible to do without heater.
3. Now do in a corner from which you lowered a median for cut, an opening for a tail. It is possible just to sew to it a loop for the same purposes, but the body cloth with an opening will better cover a cat.
4. Process an opening threads. Pass throughout it a tail, we lower other two corners along forepaws, then we wrap the ends around a cat's body – bring them behind paws, and pull out upward already before them, and tie not a really hard node on a back. It is easiest way to sew a body cloth for a cat.
5. It is possible to arrive a little differently. To cut out fabric so that "front" corners left, having made at the same time openings for forepaws. To sew all layers on such pattern, and then evenly on product length, to distribute fasteners which will fix a body cloth on a stomach. It can be velcros, tapes, hooks with loops, buttons and so on.
6. Buttons are not recommended as are easily undone by cats. On average you need 4-5 couples of fasteners – at a neck, before forepaws, behind them, in the middle of a stomach, before hinder legs. Clasp a body cloth on a cat not too hardly, but also it is not too free.
