Did you decide on acquisition of a new aquarium and prepared it for reception of new inhabitants? Pay attention: it is impossible to start there at once all fishes as it can lead to drama consequences both for certain individuals, and for all ecosystem of an aquarium.
Instruction
1. Carefully clean an aquarium with baking soda and salt. Avoid use of detergents as their remains on walls of an aquarium can do harm to plants and small fishes.
2. Establish an aquarium on ideally plain surface that on glass cracks from the liquid pressure upon one of its walls did not appear.
3. Lay soil, previously washout and having boiled it. Thickness of a layer of earth has to be not less than 5 centimeters.
4. Install the equipment for normal functioning of an aquarium. Treat such equipment: - filter necessary for cleaning of an aquarium of activity waste; - the compressor which will oxygenate aquarium water; - heater for heating of water in cold season; - thermometer for control over water temperature.
5. Having installed the equipment, start jumping of plants. Be attentive not to ship growth point in soil, otherwise subsequently roots of plants will stick out in different directions.
6. Having prepared thus an aquarium ecosystem, fill it with water. Use only tap water, you do not bring water from the rivers and ponds as it can contain dangerous bacteria and particles of heavy metals. Wait 2 weeks.
7. If your small fishes live in nature in the same climatic zone, start in an aquarium of all at once if they are natives of different latitudes, then at a sharing of neighbors you will hardly manage to avoid the victims. Anyway, it is better to start small fishes in lots that they gradually got used to an aquarium ecosystem.
8. Maintain each subsequent party in a quarantine up to several weeks. Before start of the next group gradually change the chemical composition of water in the capacity in which your pets are "on overexposure". Within several hours gradually add water to transit capacity with the small fishes who are there and watch their behavior carefully. At start of each following party of small fishes it is not necessary to feed, to them at this moment not to a meal.
