It is possible to contain in house aquariums not only fishes, but also other sea and freshwater inhabitants including shrimps. Especially as there are several types which are very decorative. These are dwarfish, fan, red-nosed, koltseruky, tiger aquarian shrimps and many others. Each of these types has certain features of maintenance and leaving, but there are also general rules.
It is required to you
- - aquarium at least 40 liters;
- - equipment for an aquarium;
- - water plants;
- - snags and dried leaves;
- - the dried and frozen forage;
- - vegetables and greens;
- - insects for a forage.
Instruction
1. Prepare an aquarium in advance. Pick up quite big capacity not less than 40 liters. Not less than three liters of water have to fall on one individual.
2. The aquarium has to be surely equipped with a cover. It is necessary in order that shrimps could not jump out of it. Without water they perish in only a few minutes.
3. In the nature of a shrimp eat detrity — dead organic material. The main source for it are the foliage which fell down in water, the decaying roots and branches of trees, remains of fishes, etc. Proceeding from it, shrimps cannot be let in a new aquarium with clear water. Plant unpretentious water plants which very quickly increase green material. Add the bacterial cultures promoting fast maturing of an aquarium (they can be got in specialized shop).
4. After acquisition of plants for an aquarium place them in separate capacity for 4-5 days. During this time several times change water. This reception will help to reduce the content of antimicrobial substances which seaweed are processed by producers and exporters. If not to make it, hazardous substances can become pernicious for shrimps.
5. Plant the Javanese moss, the plant is great addition to a diet of shrimps. Irreplaceable seaweed for an aquarium which contains shrimps are a kladifor, the hepatic moss and a richchiya. Place several snags, microorganisms which contain on their surface on a bottom, will become a part of food of shrimps.
6. For comfortable keeping of shrimps the experts recommend to use water in an aquarium with a temperature not less than 23-24 degrees. If it is less, then shrimps become less active, sluggish, and some types can die. Though there are copies which quite well feel even at a temperature of 15-20 degrees.
7. As food for shrimps serve seaweed, various water insects, some vegetables, for example, peas, cucumbers or spinach. Use several products for food of invertebrates, also the dry feed, and frozen will approach. Mix it with the crushed vegetables and greens.
8. The constant power supply for shrimps in the nature is the fallen-down foliage. Therefore add leaves of a willow, a beech, a maple to an aquarium. Dry up them within a week, and then just put on a water surface.
