Act gradually: at first take several steps to a cage and look whether the parrot worries. If he is nervous, stop and repeat attempt a little later, having reached exactly the same place, and stop. Stand several minutes, do not move and you do not speak, you do not look at a parrot. Do so several times a day. When the parrot ceases to worry, try, being in the same place, to look in its party and something tenderly to tell or sing, and then very smoothly to raise a hand to the person.
2. When the bird gets used to your actions, repeat the same, but you approach already a step closer. If you notice concern of the pet, urgently recede on a step backwards and you do not force an event: perhaps, your birdie is not ready to rapprochement yet. Gradually you will appear near a cage. On it several weeks or months can be required.
3. If the bird very much is afraid of people, put her in a small cage better. There she will feel in bigger safety, than in spacious. It is possible to cover still a cage from three parties with dark fabric, to leave open only a front part that the parrot saw only what is before him. You watch a condition of the pet and gradually slightly open a cage more and more as the bird becomes more self-assured. When the parrot absolutely grows bolder, replace him in a big cage. For fidelity it is possible to put initially a small cage in big.
4. If you want to gain full confidence of a wild parrot, it is possible to try such method: several times a week, it is better after cleaning of a cage, remove from it all food for 4-5 hours. Then accurately open a door and the smooth movement you bring to a bird of sterns on a hand. The palm should be held not movably, at the same time to talk to feathery tenderly and quietly. Perhaps, over time the wild parrot will be able to overcome the fear, will understand that you want to it only good and will begin to take delicacy from a hand.
