Often owners of dogs come up against a situation at which pets do not react to strangers in any way. To develop a habit treats strangers with care, it is necessary to train a dog in the Stranger team.
Instruction
1. Begin training in the Stranger team after the dog already begins to understand and execute such basic commands as "To me", "to Sit", "Lie", "Faugh", "to Stand". They teach a dog to obedience and the adequate attitude towards the owner.
2. Before training in the Stranger team ask friends and acquaintances that they ceased to iron an animal. It will be ideal if the people coming on a visit indifferently behave in relation to a dog.
3. Disaccustom a dog to communication with strangers (including with other people's children). If on walk the dog joyfully runs towards to the stranger, say team It "is impossible" and straighten out a lead. If a dog not on a lead, call her by name to draw attention and begin to leave quickly. The dog has to run afterwards.
4. Ask the assistant to knock or call the closed door of the apartment or house. Achieve that the dog reacted to this irritant growl or bark. For this purpose it is necessary several times loudly and to accurately pronounce the word "stranger". At manifestation of any reaction to team (even quiet growl) encourage a dog with favourite delicacy.
5. Try to create artificially a tense and stressful situation at which protection against a dog will be required. Ask the assistant to threaten on you, to represent attack.
6. You hold a dog for a collar or for a lead and you say the Stranger team. As soon as the dog reacts growl or bark, encourage him with delicacy. In the future, at the word "stranger" the dog has to snatch on the ill-wisher with bark and growl.
7. After development by a dog of the Stranger team, begin training in the Face team at which the dog has to show more active actions towards the ill-wisher.
