And in general, the first two days on the new place try not to disturb it.

1. Hamsters badly transfer drafts and cold therefore plastic carrying best of all will be suitable for their transportation. Usually in its cover there is a hatch and air vents. The similar portable boxing can be built and independently. Depending on the sizes of an animal it is possible to use a box of dense cardboard, a packing container. However if you are on the way more than one and a half hours, the hamster can gnaw through such carrying. It is possible to use also plastic bucket from under mayonnaise. The device for transportation surely has to have ventilation.
2. During the winter trip you do not hold box in which there is a hamster with heating devices in close proximity. You watch in the summer that on it direct sunshine did not fall, and the air vent would not be blocked by anything. Overheating is dangerous to an animal. The hamster can receive heatstroke. Therefore in the hottest days it is better to refrain from moving. Put a little sawdust or Sena that your pet could be dug in carrying and have a sleep quietly on the way. It is possible to use white tissues. All this will help to save an animal from a possible stress.
3. If all of you are forced to transport the pet in hot time, use for this purpose a cage with metal rods which size of no more than 15х15х10 cm. Make sure that it has no acute angles and surfaces. Do not put anything that could injure an animal when jolting in a cage or carrying. Do not use feeders and saucers. Water will spread, and everything in provisional asylum of your hamster will be wet. Put to it a piece of juicy food better – carrots, a cabbage leaf. Do not play with a hamster and in general try not to disturb him during the trip. If it is possible, hold a cage or carrying in hand to avoid jolting and pushes during the movement of the car.
