For example, for ornithosis or salmonellosis.
2. Pigeons are ill a vertyachka generally in the fall and in the winter as at this particular time years they are especially vulnerable for infections because of weakening of an organism. Mortality from this disease very high – up to 70-80%, but at timely and correct treatment a bird it is possible to save. Address the veterinarian for recommendations and strictly carry out a course of appointments.
3. Immunostimulators (fosprenit, the immunofan) give to a sick pigeon 0.1-0.3 ml of times a day within 20 days. These medicines can be pricked in a breast, or to give to drink them to a pigeon. At the same time two and more immunostimulators should not be given, it is better to increase the term of reception some one of them.
4. Buy piracetam in usual pharmacy and give to a pigeon ¼ capsules once a day. This medicine has salutary effect on central nervous system and improves brain blood circulation. As this medicine has almost no side effects, it is possible to give it for a long time. Open the piracetam capsule, pour out its contents on a clean sheet of paper, part ¼ part in 1 ml of water and let's a pigeon drink this solution by means of the syringe. If the pigeon refuses to drink it, roll up a medicine dose in a piece of a grain crumb and feed a bird.
5. Buy also special vitamins for pigeons (katozat, vitasol). The rate of vitamins usually proceeds within 14 days, but in certain cases it can be prolonged up to disappearance of symptoms of a disease.
6. That at a pigeon did not arise from such amount of drugs of problems with a GIT and a liver, add to him to the forage which is small crumbed karsit or linex. During all course of treatment help a bird to eat and drink: do not give her some firm food, you give to drink by means of the syringe or the pipette.
