Purity is necessary for health of the bird living in bondage. Non-compliance with hygiene of a cage and stock threatens with development of diseases, appearance of parasites, in the started cases - death of a bird. Except the current daily cleaning of a laying and washing of feeding troughs and drinking bowls, it is regularly necessary to wash and clean a cage completely.

Instruction
1. Clear-out of a cage for a parrot needs to be carried out at least once a week. Small it is convenient to wash, putting on a bathtub bottom; if the cage at you big is also not located in a bathtub, it can be washed directly in the room on a polyethylene film.
2. Remove all toys, a pole, a feeding trough from a cage, get a sliding pallet and a lattice. All this will need to be washed up with soap or with solution of baking soda and to brush, then to drench with very hot water and to dry separately.
3. If you wash a cage in the bathroom, it is enough to be watered from a shower and to brush carefully also laundry soap. In the room the process becomes complicated a little – spray a cage with hot water from a spray that the stuck dung and the remains of a forage lagged behind easier, the soaped rag wipe rods, and then a clean damp rag wash away from them residues of soap.
4. If you arrange disinfection of a cage, do not apply chlorine-containing means – it can be dangerous to parrots. It is possible to use potassium permanganate solution, infusion of a pharmaceutical camomile or wormwood (they can be got in pharmacy). Before disinfection the cage will need to be dried or wiped dry. After you process a cage solution of manganese or other special means, you will need to wash once again it with water or it is good to wipe with a damp rag, and then to dry up, otherwise the traces of chemicals which remained on rods can lead to poisoning of a parrot. Strong means cannot be applied at each cleaning – use them in extreme cases, for example, in a situation of appearance of parasites.
5. Now it is possible to place in a cage a pallet with fresh filler, to arrange poles, toys, tanks for food and drink. All stock has to be dried carefully up – excess moisture, having got to hard-to-reach spots, is capable to lead to formation of a mold and development of diseases in your pet. When the interior of a cage is restored, return to the place of its inhabitant.
