It is considered to be that cats in the majority purify the wool about pollution, licking it language. Unfortunately, cat's saliva is capable to cope well not with all types of pollution. It is difficult to call process of bathing of a cat simple and quiet – all animals of the cat family differ in speed of reaction and dexterity. Therefore the owner of a cat or cat has to be prepared for bathing of an animal properly.
- If you are going to wash a cat, do not do it on the open area at all: if the animal escapes and will escape, you will not manage to catch up and catch it, most likely. It is better to bathe a cat in the closed shower cabin or the small bathroom. Try to remove in advance all objects which the animal can damage, dump on a floor or break. - Before beginning to wash a cat, gather in a trough or a bathtub of a little warm water – so that water level in capacity was not less than 15-20 centimeters. Bring a cat to the bathroom, and as soon as possible start directly bathing process. As it is extremely difficult to hold in hands a cat during bathing, try to perform all procedures as fast as possible and accurately. Be ready that your pet will escape from hands and to resist without restraint, nevertheless, it is necessary to wash away foam from him carefully as it is possible in the large volume of water. Water temperature for bathing has to be comfortable – the body temperature of a cat usually is about 38 degrees, and the water seeming to us warm washes to seem to an animal cold. But also too hot water will cause an aggression attack in a cat.
- After bathing a cat it is necessary to drain carefully. You should not use for this purpose the hair dryer – better just properly wipe an animal a towel.
